1. Prices are subject to change without prior notification.   

2. This quotation is valid for a period of seven (7) days from the date issued.   

3. All equipment supplied shall remain the property of Solar Alt until full payment has been received.    

- If final payment   is not made within ten (10) working days post-installation, Solar Alt may remove all equipment without refunding the deposit.   

4. 80% Deposit is required or as otherwise negotiated, on acceptance of this offer. The balance must be paid immediately after COC is issued.   

5. COC is issued by a Third-Party Electrical Company to ensure quality assurance.   

6. Solar Alt does not carry any direct warranties on products and where applicable, the   manufacturers warranties apply. Defective or damaged products will be sent back to the manufacturer for evaluation. We act on instruction of the   manufacturers/suppliers and do not offer product exchanges or swap-outs.    

- Solar Alt can – but is not obliged to – provide a loan unit while equipment is being repaired. Provided that Solar Alt have the identical product in store.    

- Solar Alt reserves the right to charge the client reasonable fees for the removal and/or   reinstallation of any warranty related claims, as from Six (6) months after initial installation.    

- Solar Alt has no control over the repair time of equipment and will only be able to provide regular updates during the repair process, as received from the repair centre.    

- All products booked in for repair will be retained for a period of six (6) months from the date on which the client is issued a repair quotation. Should the client not act on the quotation or make alternative arrangements with Solar Alt, within this period, the client shall be deemed to have forfeited ownership.   

7. Calculations and estimates are based on design specs and effective parameters; however real word performance may vary.   

8. Solar Alt ensures that the solar system complies with current statutory regulations.   

9. Customer to provide and ensure:    

- Protected area   (out of wind and weather) for Batteries, Inverters, electrical distribution   board, etc.    

- Site access by 10:00 AM on the agreed upon installation day to avoid delays.   

10. Two free callouts are included, within the first six (6) months after installation of the system; thereafter R750/hour applies.    

- After-hours work requested by the client is charged at R950/hour.   

11. Solar Alt workmanship is guaranteed for six (6) months and will attend to callouts as soon as possible, which is usually the same or next day, but could take longer.   

12. The owner is responsible to arrange for any possible repairs or adjustments related to all   faults discovered on the existing electrical network, while connecting or commissioning the solar system to the existing electrical network, or Solar Alt can perform the repairs, at additional cost to the owner/client.    

- Amongst others, this constitutes to any connections previously routed or NOT routed through an earth leakage, causing trips after directed through the solar system switch gear and distribution network such as, but not limited to lights, plugs, breakers, switches, wiring, neutrals, earthing, etc.   13. Installation time varies greatly, depending on the difficulty of access to premise, and the installation size.   

14. When away from home for prolonged periods, it is advisable to arrange for someone to frequently visit your house to ensure the solar system is running effectively.    

- Solar Alt does not take responsibility for any damage or loss, should the Solar system malfunction or stop to operate.   

15. Registration of SSEG (Small Scale Embedded Generation) systems became a requirement for both   municipal and Eskom direct customers.    

- Registration cost for the SSEG process is excluded from this quotation, but can be arranged. After submission of the relevant documents, Solar Alt have no control over the time and the process or the relevant authorities.    

- Solar Alt does not take responsibility should the client decided not to have the system   registered.   16. If provision of this document or portions thereof are held to be invalid under any applicable   statute or rule of law, or regulation they are to that extent to be deemed omitted from the conditions of sale and the balance of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect.   

17. These terms and conditions are automatically accepted with purchase of goods and services from Solar Alt.

18. Fraudulent transactions will be handed over to relevant authorities.   

19. Only Cash, Credit card, Debit card or EFT transfers will be accepted - No cheques.
